The True Provider

In this life, there are many providers. There are internet providers, insurance providers, and health care providers. Such providers choose when and how they will provide help. They supply you what they feel that you need. They do it because it is their business.

 

Now there is only one True Provider. He is the source of all life. He is the sustainer of all creation. He will provide us with help in our time of need. The amount of assistance that He gives is immeasurable. He gives and He keeps on giving. He cares about our health. He provides for our physical and spiritual needs. He provides us with daily bread for this life and with the Bread of Life for the life to come. St. Paul writes in Philippians chapter four, “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” (Phil. 4:19 ESV)

 

In Christ Jesus, we are provided access to the Father, eternal life insurance, and a full health care plan that will see its completion in the resurrection of our bodies. He is interested in providing for us at His own expense. It cost Him His life. With Christ there will be no rate increases. We do not need to worry about a co-pay or a future bill. It has been paid in full. With Christ the coverage will remain the same. He covers all sin. You are covered with blood of the Lamb. You are in good hands, the very hands of our Redeemer who healed the sick, fed the hungry, and were pierced for you. He richly and daily supplies you with what you really need: the forgiveness of sins, life, and salvation.
